Well, if you weren't there on Saturday...YOU MISSED OUT! What an incredible inaugural event...we promised EPIC, and we delivered. 15 coffins, great beer and food, tons of fans cheering for their favorites and dedicated racing teams working hard to get their hands on the coolest trophies EVER. Absolutely awesome from START to FINISH. Now on to the main event...in less than 48 hours, Downtown Napa will be brimming with coffins and costumed racers and it is an event that you are NOT going to want to miss! There will also be stylish orange 1st Annual Napa Valley Coffin Races t-shirts available for purchase...perfect for Halloween and showing your SF Giants pride...but we will only have a VERY limited quantity on-hand, so don't delay in finding the T-shirt sales table right away upon arrival. Raffle tickets will also be sold as there are several VERY cool items up for grabs... Festivities begin around noon, so BE THERE or spend eternity wondering why you were lame and missed out on all the fun, because it is going to be...................................EPIC. Believe it or not, THERE IS STILL TIME TO GET YOUR COFFIN RACE ENTRY FORMS IN for the 1st Annual Napa Valley Coffin Races happening this Saturday, October 27th! You now have until Wednesday the 25th to get your forms in to participate. The competition is proving to be fierce though...check out the Krider Race Team article featured in the Napa Register yesterday! However anyone can and should come out to watch these races happen on Saturday...
Trust me when I tell you...you'd rather be DEAD than miss this event...it is going to be EPIC. So, we told you this event was going to garner crazy amounts of media attention, and it has already begun. TwoGuysFromNapa.com, a wine country travel advice website, has whole-heartedly endorsed our event as the signature reason to travel to the Napa Valley in late October...(well, they may have mentioned a few things about wine, too.) Additionally, the Napa Register, recently intereviewed Captain Charlie Rhodes about this soon-to-be opus and that article is due to run in the paper on Thursday, October 11, 2012. So, don't forget to run out and grab a paper...you'll want to cut that one out for your scrapbook for sure! Lanny Luv will be manning the microphone and giving his colorful commentary and spot-on coffin sport analysis...he might even give autographs. Maybe.
